Strep A antibiotics
We can prescribe antibiotics for the bacterial condition known as Strep Throat (pharyngitis). Common symptoms of this include: Throat pain that usually comes on quickly, pain when swallowing, red / swollen tonsils, sometimes with white patches or streaks of pus, tiny red spots on the area at the back of the roof of the mouth (soft or hard palate), swollen, tender lymph nodes in your neck, fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting, especially in younger children. Thrush is a yeast infection (commonly Candida albicans) that can be found in the genital areas, armpits and between the toes. Both men and women can get thrush and it can be passed on through sexual activity. Symptoms depend on the location off the infection and include, redness, inflammation, soreness and discharge Our pharmacist can prescribe creams and oral medication to help resolve the symptoms of thrush.
